The town of Charlevoix is close to all "up-north" attractions. We're a pleasant drive from many metropolitan areas.

Fly:

The Traverse City Cherry Capital (TVC) airport (TVCairport.com) is 30 miles from the Inn. We'll be happy to arrange transportation to and from the airport with advance notice. The airport is served by United, American, Delta and Northwest. Non-stop flights are available to/from Detroit, Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Minneapolis and New York City.

Boat:

Charlevoix and the surrounding region has several marinas offering transient slips. You might try the Irish Boat Shop or the Northwest Marine Yacht Club.

From Detroit / Flint/ I-75:

Follow I-75. Exit at exit #282 - M-32/Gaylord/Alpena and head west on M-32. Continue following M-32 for nearly 29 miles. Just after the town of East Jordan, take a right onto MI-66 and follow it northwards for nearly 13 miles.

This will bring you into the town of Charlevoix. Turn right onto US-31 (Bridge Street) and, about a mile down, take another right onto Belvedere Avenue.

The Inn is at 306 Belvedere Avenue, just a little beyond the tennis courts. You'll see the sign out front. There is plenty of parking behind the Inn. Print Directions

From Chicago:

Follow I-90 east. Merge onto I-94 east via exit 21 (toward Detroit) for 64 miles. Merge onto I-196 north via exit 34 for 77 miles. Merge onto US-131 north via exit 77A for 147 miles. Turn left onto MI-66 and continue to follow for 31 miles.

This will bring you into the town of Charlevoix. Turn right onto US-31 (Bridge Street) and, about a mile down, take another right onto Belvedere Avenue.
